1) What happens after I schedule a tree pickup?

• Once you signup via Jotform, you will receive an on-screen and email confirmation. If you have your confirmation, you are 100% good to go! *Our Friday emails are promotional reminders to catch new neighbors. If you've already registered, feel free to ignore them. If you ever need direct assurance that we have your address, please email 423treerecycling@gmail.com.

2) What if I need to reschedule my pickup date?

• No problem at all! You can easily update your details via the edit link in your confirmation email. Alternatively, you can email us and we will happily change your date for you.

3) What if I forgot to put my tree out or the Scouts accidentally missed it?

• Most importantly, we sincerely apologize if we missed your tree -- it does happen occasionally! In either case, you are welcome to bring your tree to our drop-off station at Cook Family Park (Tigard) from 9AM to 4PM on any of our collection days. If you'd rather wait for a pickup, please email us. We typically run a special sweep to gather leftover trees each week, or will get you rescheduled for the next available pickup day.

4) What is the timeframe for curbside pickup each service day?

• Our Scouts pick up trees between 8AM and 4PM on our collection days. Please have your tree out by 8AM, as we cannot guarantee specific pickup times or return trips for late-out trees.

5) What areas and zip codes do you service?

• We proudly service 97223, 97224, and the immediate surrounding Tigard areas (Durham, Metzger, Garden Home-Whitford, South Cooper Mountain, and South Beaverton). *Not sure if you're quite in our zone? Shoot us an email and we'll let you know!

6) What are the donation options and recommended amounts?

• Our suggested donation for curbside pickup is $20 per tree. You can donate online during the Jotform signup process, or you can leave cash or check (made out to "Scouting America Troop 423") attached to your tree. *If possible, please wrap it in our blue door hanger if you received one!

7) Do you accept trees over 10ft tall? Do you pickup trees from apartments/condos?

• Yes! We can take large trees, but please indicate it in the signup notes (there is a special question) so our Scouts come prepared. We service apartments/condos if the tree is placed on the ground floor.

8) Do you recycle wreaths, garlands, or other holiday greenery?

• Yes, we accept all holiday greenery! However, because there is additional labor involved in processing and chipping wreaths/garlands, we suggest a $5 donation per piece of greenery.

9) Can you collect multiple trees from one home?

• Yes! Please just indicate the total number of trees in the signup notes. There is no need to submit multiple requests. We suggest a donation of $20 per tree.

10) Can I submit special pickup notes or custom requests?

• Absolutely, we are happy to accommodate! For simple instructions, just drop them into the pickup notes section on the Jotform. For special tree removals or commercial properties, please email us directly.

11) What happens to the Christmas trees?

• 100% of the trees collected are chipped and the mulch is spread at Tigard's Cook Family Park to support a health ecosystem!

12) When does your season run, and are you monitoring emails?

• Our recycling season runs from Thanksgiving to mid-January. Our inbox at 423treereycling@gmail.com is actively monitored throughout that time, so please reach out with any questions.
